Strengthening Inclusion in Classrooms

ANCHOR Inclusion™ gives your staff practical, research-led strategies to support children with additional needs in the moment, in real classrooms. The result: confident staff, consistent practice, and children who are better regulated and ready to learn.

When does inclusion work best? When home and school pull together, we also equip the families in your community with the same approach, so children get consistent support on both sides.

Schoolchildren On Steps

Why the ANCHOR framework actually gets used in classrooms

Most SEND training is sound in theory, but hard to use when it matters.

In our research with 101 educational professionals, 80% received SEND training, yet only 10% found it applicable in the moment a child was struggling.

Why
Parent Support
should belong in your SEND Strategy

Children with additional needs progress most when support is consistent across home and school. For most schools, the home environment stays out of reach.

When parents lack the tools to support regulation, social skills and transitions, children arrive already dysregulated , before the day begins. Staff absorb it. SENCOs manage it. The cycle continues.

ANCHOR closes that gap, building the same research-led approach at home that your staff use at school.

The result: children who are better regulated, socially confident and ready to learn.

Home-school consistency supports emotional regulation and social development (Sheridan et al., 2019)

Parent involvement: strongest predictors of positive outcomes (EEF, 2018)

Early intervention at home, reduces likelihood of school escalations (EIF, 2021)

This is not an add-on to your SEND provision.

It is the part that makes the rest of it work.
