I built a support service that I wish had existed.

I'm Asha - a registered therapeutic practitioner, MSc Psychology candidate and parent of a neurodiverse child.

I navigated the British school system in the 90s and 2000s, long before awareness, language or support existed to make sense of neurodiversity. As a late-diagnosed individual myself, I understand first-hand how the right support, at the right time, can change the trajectory of a child's life.

The systems around education and parenting support have largely remained the same, despite growing research, rising diagnoses and increasing need (Department for Education, 2026).

I founded ANCHOR after seeing the same pattern everywhere: strategies identified, best intentions in place, but not enough time, tools or consistency to make them stick, across settings.

Children fall through the gaps. Parents are unsure how to help. Teachers do their best under enormous pressure.

I developed the ANCHOR framework to support all of them.

Why early help matters

What happens in a child's early years, shapes their long-term outcomes - from educational achievement to mental health and social mobility into adulthood (EIF, 2026).

Early, consistent support makes the difference. The sooner children and families are helped, the better the outcomes for everyone.

ANCHOR intervenes early. Before needs escalate.

Built in practice. Not just theory.

Since 2022/3, developed through direct work with families and children across NHS spaces and primary schools in London.

Every child deserves to feel anchored

regulated, supported and ready to learn
